I asked Nail it for a paint job in my living room and they let me know that it wasn’t their specialty and asked if I still wanted to do it. I said yes! I cannot say enough good things about the people at nail it handyman. They were not only professional but personable and efficient. It’s a rarity when you can find real quality craftsmanship and have them be nice people as well. Wonderful experience today with Norman C! He came to the house to take care of small jobs, including realigning two porch doors, filling in some holes in concrete and fixing our kitchen floor. He diagnosed each job quickly and with knowledge of how to resolve, and 2 hours later everything was complete! I had him take a look at a few other jobs and I hope to have Norman back soon. Highly recommended!read more

I had an excellent experience with Nailit Handyman. The service representative, Mike, was very good at analyzing my set up of washer and dryer in the basement. He was able to move gas lines in order to get a more direct vent flow to outside. he also unclogged my dryer and got it working well again. The bonus was that the new arrangement was safer for the dryer and more stable out of the way gas lines as well as opening up a lot more space in the room.. First install attempt of baby gate was not good at all. As a work-around in what is a tricky location at the top of my stairs, the technician landed on securing the hinge side of the gate mostly with zip ties. Although the man was pleasant and clearly tried hard, the security and functionality of the product was NOT OK. However, Nailit showed a real dedication to making the situation right and very quickly sent a second man to try to fix. He did a great job of finding a solution that is both secure and functions properly.read more

Nail It installed a railing which fell less than 2 weeks later on my disabled father. Once I called Tom he assured me someone would come by to fix it at no charge to me. Today I see a unauthorized charge to my account and an amended invoice from when the installation was done with additional charges from when they fixed the railing 2 weeks later. When I called Tom he sent me to accounting immediately, knowing no one would answer once I attempted to call back no one answered, mere seconds after transferring me. Initially I was super satisfied with their work and professionalism but it seems they are just another franchise waiting to get all that they can from you and complete disregard for their clients.read more

I've ordered the company my first time via there regular toll free number after I've seen so many advertisements from them that they do small handy work at first date when the worker arrived he had no tools with him he asked my wife for tools and then he was suppose to install a baby monitor camrea in the room which in fact it fell off 2 hours after the other 2-3 items that were on the work order the dispatcher stated they they will do it since they do it all the worker stated they don't do it so they left after no time and charged me for over a hour work and the baby monitor that fell off was so poorly installed and even wires running on the room furniture, a day after I called them back it started with empty promises that supposedly this is not there business model and they are interested in making it better so I should be a future customer and so on ,they finally scheduled or said so on the phone for a new tech to come out next buisneiss day to fix the job and recertify the situation the worker never showed up I e mailed the secretary to the owner which she explained that the work was gene done but there was traffic and streets are closed supposedly 2-3 main streets where closed off a short period of Time , like this is a honest excuse ,the following time some one came back installed the camera did not do the other jobs outstanding initially and I've paid for it at the first time ,I was fed up I decided to deal with a different company which all was done . After a week I noticed my card was charged because when I called the first time dispatch said that we need a card on hold only all of the sudden my card was charged without my permission and the worker took a cash payment at first visit and work was not done they finally returned the money to the card . I am frustrated and beyond on how a customer can be abused .read more

Stay away from Nail It. Only use them for mundane work like IKEA furniture installations. Anything else, use a professional, even if you have to pay more money. You have been warned.read more

They were alright, one curtain rod they put up is crooked and the other one has only 2 of 4 screws in it. In the closet the staples used to a attach the middle shelf to the support are on the inside of the support not in the support. They were neat and punctual.read more

Terrible job. I told the handyman to remove silicon in shower because it was moldy. But instead he put the new silicon on top of the moldy one. He was very lazy. Not professional. Does not know how to his job. And for the bad work that he did, it was very expensive. I do not recommend.read more

I moved into my new house, very exciting, but there were too many little things to do and I didn't know how to handle it. A friend recommended me to order Nail It, and just 1 day later everything was in place! They made me nice custom closets, hang up all my mirrors and put the hanging closets in place, all small handy jobs were done... Ian from Nail It Handyman did such a great job caulking our bathtub/shower. He was on time, fast, professional, kind, personable, very affordable and educational too. He removed our old caulk, vacuumed it away, cleaned the remaining mildew off the tub and then placed the new caulk on. He did all of this to the lining of the tub and also to the vertical slits in our surrounding wall plaster. We're so grateful!read more
